Mod Dbs Ret Pmts ?

Does any one know what the above payment reference is for please? Hubby out last June and this reference has popped up with few hundred £s we weren't expecting.

No idea what the letters mean but basically, it is a catch-up payment to his pension, it happens because the initial payments were estimates but now the 'dust has settled' his monthly payment will be correct.

A friend suggested it's to do with the pay rise. We just have a history of overpayments and admin mess ups, so don't trust anything
