News travels too slowly at times.
Just been notified that John Atkins, ex- 40th entry, Boy Entrants (Cosford), passed away on the 23rd March last year.
Jock Atkins was in my class at Cosford, and he managed the same trick at Yatesbury. We trudged over Dartmoor and so on together and often shared a joke or a beer! He had a wicked, sharp humour but no malice.
We send our condolences to his family.
