Whilst searching the British Legion website I found a brilliant way of raising money for the RBL that I thought I would share/promote to others.
118-737
"A new directory enquiries service has been launched that will not only help you get the phone number you're looking for quickly, but also help the Legion. 118 PDQ is the name of the service set up by Location Based Telecom Ltd. It works like all other 118 Directory Enquiries Services, but every time you call, 10p will be donated towards the Legion's vital welfare services. The number to call is 118 737 - the 737 part equates to the letters PDQ on your keypad, which stands for Pretty Damn Quick, and Quick it is!"
There are so many directory enquiry numbers in Britain, but I thought this was a brilliant idea to raise money for the British Legion and for army/navy/RAF veterans.
