Can anyone tell me what the difference between Sqn Ops and Station Ops is? Apart from the obvious, one works in Station Ops and one works in a Sqn. Thanks!

What's the bloody point?

If the place you work is, generally, a laugh and your efforts are rewarded and you feel a valued member of the team, then it will probably be Squadron Ops.

If it is a place where you have to wear Kevlar on your back, wetnurse people and try to prevent Ops Officers from saying "their staff" can do any task given them even if it is someone else's specialisation then it is Station Ops.

Remember, it is just for fun!

Likewise, if you are doing a job and people are leaving you to do it.....then you are on a Squadron.

Whereas if you are doing a job with Kevlar on your back and someone is watching you like a hawk, knife ready to be drawn at any second....you are in station Ops
