Just wondered if anyone has followed the PDF on RAF website called "Fit for action: Physical fitness training for RAF Halton"....it gives you things to do everyday for 6 weeks to prepare

Has anyone followed it and does it work or do you need to do extra? I haven't got to the initial fitness test yet but hoping to do this 6 week programme before I do it :)

Thanks!

Consider that advice as a bare minimum, achieve it by all means but do more. The fitter you are on arrival for RTS (If successful) the easier you'll find it all. Bleed more in the gym, less on the battlefield as the saying goes.

Absolutely agree with Spearmint. That programme will get most people through the fitness test, but it doesn't hurt to do your best. Good luck!
