End of the Falklands War

Thirty years ago today the Union Flag went back up over Stanley. Many lost their lives from both sides and my heartfelt sympathies to the families, who today, will feel the loss.

Also to the families of those who came home heroes but were soon forgotten - victims of PTSD and those who came home badly injured; many of whom took what must have seemed to them at the time the only way out - joining their fallen comrades in the big NAAFI in the sky.

Rest in Peace men your work is done, those of us that remain will remember you and do our best to look after those that remain here that are struggling.
