God forbid it should ever happen again and the goat decides to go on its holidays, (who the feck wants to go to Romania at this time of year?) We now have two boltholes/lifeboats for info regarding all things relating to the goat. Many have already joined up but for those that missed the opportunity the addys are here. E-Goat Home from Home is now on MSN and Yahoo for those who favour those websites. You may join anytime or add them to your favourites in case anything happens to the goat.

For MSN users
http://groups.msn.com/E-GOATHOMEFROMHOME/_whatsnew.msnw

For Yahoo users
http://uk.groups.yahoo.com/group/egoathomefromhome

Please be aware that both sites are private and not on either register so only access is through the goat.

The main reason for these sites is for updates on how the goat is being fixed but they do allow banter to continue through posts. For PMing you will need to contact your "friends" via messenger (MSN or Yahoo).

All Admin and Mods have the same privileges on the home from home sites and are made managers of said sites. A few extra Assistant managers have been created for their help and expertise on using MSN and Yahoo groups.

All rules pertaining to the goat (PERSEC and OPSEC especially) are maintained on the Home From Home sites.

When joining either of the sites and your online name differs from your egoat name please introduce your self and add your names to the databases provided on entry.

The Admin and Mods of the goat now have in place an offline contact system so information reaches members as soon as possible, so if you need info when and if the goat goes offline go to the Home From Home sites. As the many who joined while the goat was down will attest the system worked well and they received updates on a regular basis and got to know the goat was back almost immediately.

Lets have a secret network of tunnels for when we next get hit....

In fact lets get a myspace - then we can have

MSN - TOM
YAHOO - DICK
MY SPACE - HARRY

FFS if it is down it is down. Nobody lost a life, in fact some actually gained one

In fact, let us have a duty moderator. We will fedex the duty mobile around the country. Anyone call call to get an up to date system check on the goat.

Failing that, if there is no welcome screen, it might be down. In that situation - Go out, make some friends, call an old buddy, spend some time with the kids, find a decent porn site and wank yourself silly
