Definitely not ILLBW. Unfortunately today's lot do have some pretty good No3 uniform, yet they still go out of their way not to wear it as directed. Seen many walking around stations of foreign air forces without their jackets/shirts even though they have been instructed otherwise. I would hope that they wouldn't get away wandering around in t-shirts on an RAF station at home like that; but, they still think that it's OK on 'det'.

Sounds like bit of a non-story - tuck it away under a shirt if they don't want to remove it. And if need be, get a longer chain.
