Hi all,
Although a techie rather than a shiney whilst I was in, I find myself now managing learning and development, this includes: learning solution development (training courses both classroom based, plus blended learning, plus elearning); competence mgt, and also training delivery.
SO I was looking at the CIPD site to see if there was an appropriate course / qual. It seemed to me that some of the foundation level stuff about learning and development (formerly known as training development) might be appropriate, although there seem to be 3 levels: award, cert and diploma.
Has anyone done of these, and can you give a view on the value and content, and applicability in the real world? Who did you do it with?
