It is with much regret that I am announcing the passing of
Chris Earley

Chris was a Cpl Engine Basher on the reformation of IX with the Tornado GR1 back in 1982.

He was an all round good bloke and many young lads on the squadron owe their nicknames to him, nicknames that lasted their full RAF careers and onwards.
