[FONT="]JOB PURPOSE[/FONT]

[FONT="]To support, day to day, the safe operation of the client Sites and to co-ordinate and support the application of best practice and code of conduct throughout the organisation. Will also be primarily responsible for the management of bids and price assertions and playing a key role in the development of business and technical strategy. The candidate will also be involved in presenting the bids internally and externally and support the communications with the customer.[/FONT]

[FONT="]Safety[/FONT]
· [FONT="]To assist and support implementation of the site Health & Safety Policy[/FONT]
- [FONT="]Monitor for safety hazards in the work environment via 5S audit (trip, VDUs)[/FONT]
- [FONT="]Review safety KPIs[/FONT]
- [FONT="]Complete accident investigation reports as necessary[/FONT]
- [FONT="]Complete H&S risk assessments for the team activities and assist operations for new equipment etc. as required[/FONT]
[FONT="]Roles & Responsibilities[/FONT]
- [FONT="]Work with the commercial team and Program managers to prioritize bids and ensure estimate lead times for bid preparation and approval is achieved[/FONT]
- [FONT="]Manage the bid team and ensure supporting stakeholders achieve the agreed deadlines[/FONT]
- [FONT="]Ability to review bid accuracy using knowledge of the primus business[/FONT]
- [FONT="]Negotiate deadlines with the customer in instances when deadlines are not able to be achieved[/FONT]
- [FONT="]Review customer feedback and feedback to programme managers in order to strengthen the Primus commercial competiveness for future bids[/FONT]
· [FONT="]Maintain a register and flow down to supply chain all the necessary Non- disclosure / Proprietary Information agreements that ensures compliance.[/FONT]
· [FONT="]Ensure all the necessary licenses ITAR’s, Export etc are in place before any data, hardware or information is exchanged[/FONT]
· [FONT="]Ensure correct rates, factors and burdens are applied to all RC & NRC estimates in order to achieve the margin requirements of the business. [/FONT]
· [FONT="]Ensure pricing breakdowns / proposals are set up in such away that annual price adjustments / changes are easy to process / respond to.[/FONT]
· [FONT="]Ensure compliance to Pre-Approval Requirements Policy.[/FONT]
- [FONT="]Breakdown of work packages into tooling costs, BOM costs & production hours[/FONT][FONT="][/FONT]
- [FONT="]Define the man hours required for the NPI or transfer process and the resources required to obtain the required customer approvals by working with the PMs and LPEs[/FONT]
- [FONT="]Define engineering sub-con costs (for example, ply shape development)[/FONT]
- [FONT="]Liaise with Engineering to define the technical proposal manufacturing route[/FONT]
- [FONT="]Define and cost the Inspection requirements[/FONT]
- [FONT="]Ensure the work package can be accommodated by the FCD and PBD facilities [/FONT]
- [FONT="]Feed associated workloads into the capacity plans[/FONT]
- [FONT="]Ensure the Engineering support review the bid and identify and process capability issues (eg GT&D)[/FONT]
- [FONT="]Desire to embrace new working procedures or software to aid the bidding process[/FONT]
- [FONT="]Define the capital expenditure requirements[/FONT]
- [FONT="]Support the PM team to close out cost increases for the product portfolio and replacement/refurb tooling costs for example[/FONT]
- [FONT="]Assist in documenting knowledge, templates, guidelines[/FONT]
- [FONT="]Support PM activities to determine the ROI (Return on Investment) [/FONT]
- [FONT="]Maintain Bid records[/FONT]
- [FONT="]Assist in the various stages of the bidding process[/FONT]

[FONT="]Skills & Knowledge Required[/FONT]
- [FONT="]Past experience in an estimating function with an established track record for understanding them market value of aerospace composite commodities[/FONT]
- [FONT="]Have good pedigree for developing team capabilities and engaged the wider stakeholders in the process[/FONT]
- [FONT="]Good awareness of competitors strengths and weaknesses[/FONT]
- [FONT="]Ability to negotiate and represent the company at a high level of authority[/FONT]
- [FONT="]Understand how to manufacture and assemble composite parts[/FONT]
- [FONT="]Skills to review and understand lay-up drawings, CAD data Drawings to determine sizes, weights etc[/FONT]
- [FONT="]Attention to detail[/FONT]
- [FONT="]Good contacts in the Aerospace industry[/FONT]
- [FONT="]Good communicates skills from the shop floor to the co-operate team as well as building good relationships with the customers[/FONT]
- [FONT="]Logical approach and has the ability to clearly defined the bid clarifications[/FONT]
