Mods, separated from the XX741 thread if that is OK.
The Ben****ers Cold War Museum are presently trying to restore their SEPECAT Jaguar GR1A airframe XX741 to a ground running condition, with the restoration well into it's second phase towards being a runner. The project has used member donations and museum profits to acquire equipment beforehand, however the project has progressed to the point where further ground equipment is needed, preferably in the ownership of the museum so it is usable at any time. They are looking at acquiring a set of aircraft jacks with the specific trestles as used in RAF service for the Jag. Several examples have come available for commercial sale. The sets are likely to come to a cost of around £2500 with transportation costs. All the money that the museum raises will be spent on the purchase of jacks and more is raised, it will exclusively be spent on the Jaguar. This is no "Black Mike" appeal, the money is accountable and audited, especially as being Paypal, it goes direct into a registered charities bank account. Donations can be made directly via PayPal to xx741donations@bcwm.org.uk . Please also state in the remarks block, the word Jaguar. This will indicate the donation is purely for XX741. Many thanks in advance.

The museum also has a You Tube channel to highlight progress. The frame was virtually a stripped hulk when it was originally brought in 2009
