I'm rather curious,

With BZZ runway closed, why do we still have ATC in the tower.
Are you still controling the traffic in the area or just there for saftey ?
I would of thought everyone would be at FFD.

Like it makes a difference, they will be too busy eating donuts and turning away traffic wherever the aircraft are !! :D

If Brize ATC wasn't manned their sky would be full of civvies in their toy planes.

Brize Radar

Brize Radar

Brize has a radar, Fairford has next to nothing. Consequently, without Brize Radar, nothing flying IFR would get into or out of Fairford - 'nuff said.

 Brize Radar - about as funny as when it called itself an ATCRU! It's only claim to fame with Upper Heyford was operating a not very busy West Hold - mind it did stretch their capabilities!
