ATC Alert State Board

So the flight I'm in is based out of a decommissioned ATC tower, the old control room still remains with one or two pieces of it's previous use.
There is what I describe as an 'alert state' board with stuff for various alert status concerning Air Raids and NBC, etc.
Under 'Alert State' is the following letters; MV SA RA GA
I'm not sure what these mean and hazard a rough guess that they might mean Standby Alert, Red Alert and General Alert?
Probably gotten this totally wrong, but was wondering whether any ex-ATC (TG9 possibly?) would be able to enlighten me please?
Have an interest in history and it's piqued my curiosity.

Going back to my fading memory, these would be the Alert States, which went Military Vigilance (MV), Simple Alert (SA), Reinforced Alert (RA), General Alert (GA)

Thanks.
Guessing Military Vigilance would've been regular peacetime tempo?
Either way, I'll see if I can snag a photo of the board.
