It's OK the RAF has stratedgy to combat this. Send you to a 5* Hotel in the middle of Turkey with nothing else near for miles. The hotel is ok very new (about 6 months open) but for us VERY EXPENSIVE. 10 (about £4) Turkish Lira for a small can of beer....7 for a can of coke ffs.

We get Breakfast and evening meal provided (mostly the same every night with a lot of repitition) and a "lovely" packed lunch that was doubled after the first week due to complaints......same stuff just doubled.

Weekends we were on B&B and the rest on ROPE forms....which obviously were filled out and receipts attached.....but it made it acceptable as you could afford to be in the hotel.

Last weekend we were not on ROPE and had to eat all meals (with 2 drinks included) in the hotel resteraunt which to be fair at this point was VERY BORING.

It probably would have been a lot better if the hotel staff didn't style themselves on Nazi SS troops.....patrolling to catch you bringing in ANY food or drink and on one occasion SHAMPOO.

This is just the tip of the det...it was fecked up in so many other ways but i can hear the aircrew brief now......it was good for us and we learnt a lot and we taught them a lot....all we did as the RAF was look like a shower of shi*e.

Last det done in the RAF thank feck............Crack on.............:pDT_Xtremez_09:
