Sad news indeed, from the Yahoo news feed:

"It is with deep regret that we can confirm that a British airman attached to 903 Expeditionary Air Wing, Royal Air Force, has died as a result of a rocket attack on the Contingency Operating Base in Basra," a statement read.

"The incident occurred at approximately 2130 GMT yesterday evening (Friday). The airman's next of kin have been informed, and have requested a period of 24 hours before further details are released."
