"... lies, damn lies, and statistics"

The glaring one from the data is "How would you rate the level of morale of The Service as a whole?" with only 9% of the RAF saying high, 36% saying neutral and 55% saying low. The figures across Tri-Service are pretty much the same. Why leave that out and say morale is high?

Not wanting to start another techie based thread but I'd be interested to read the results for techies only on the pay questions. I reckon other trades are bolstering the 'satisfied' figures.
I notice officers are generally more satisfied than other ranks, I wonder why that is, what do they have better than us apart from pay and pensions?

To be fair on your point I would like to see this broken down across the RAF, for all questions of each individual trades across all ranks. Not just techies, of which I am one. I think that would be very telling. Find out who really the most miserable bunch. Probably us sooties who were forced to the dark side. Although stackers do seem a bit more grumpy than usual!

There are good ones out there as I witnessed at my last camp who have a grasp and understanding of the problems the RAF face. Needless to say they probably will not get promoted anytime soon as they live in reality. Unfortunately the majority have their heads in the sand as they don't want to upset the apple cart or they live in their owne little world where everything is all pink, fluggy and nice.

You mean stackers aren't normally grumpy these days? Times have changed...
