Hi all,

Just wondering how accommodation on base works.
Are the blocks mixed gender?
Are girlfriends allowed to stay round or visit?

Any help much appreciated.

Cheers

Ok a lot depends on where you end up, The last couple of RAF bases they could stay for short periods but had to be signed into a book in the block and escorted everywhere. If you end up in Army land ( If you'er joint), forget it, they are still stuck in the 1890s. Females not allowed in male blocks even if it is your wife, and vice virca males into female block.

What so say a normal RAF base you wouldn't have a male and female sleeping in rooms next to each other?
For how long can Girlfriends stay?

cheers

We have mixed blocks where I am. Loads of the lads have their girlfriends down. I also had some lad move his bird in for 2 months before they got married and got a quarter. The SNCO of the block didn't know but I did. Ran it past the rest of the lads in the block and they didn't care so I didn't have a problem with it. I will say though that if the lads had a problem she wouldn't have stayed here.

Where I am has mixed sex SLAM blocks. I know guys that signed thier birds/local slags onto thier base every weekend too. As mentioned depends where you are, I wouldnt recommend trying to bring a bird into your room at Halton or Cosford etc. I wouldnt recommend you had a bird in your singlie room for extended periods either as you'll always find some jealous virgin will dob you in (happened to a mate)
