    E-Goat Hierarchy

Quick question from those newish members or those members without the requisite access - can the Goat hierarchy confirm exactly how many of the current admin team are serving members (And by inference how relevant their advice/gen is)? Equally, could we have the same info on the moderation team...

    Ford S-Max - Tailgate Problem

I press the button on the key fob and there is a click at the tailgate but it doesn't open. Tried pressing down on the tailgate whilst trying to open it, had a look from the inside and sprayed some lube around the bit of the hook that I could see and still nothing. Rest of the car is fine...

    Virus - Help Needed

My son's laptop appears to have been infected. On questioning the little so and so, it appears he has been looking at some "Adult" sites, and may have clicked on a few buttons he shouldn't have. I switched his lappy on and there was no sign of the previous settings I had installed; Zone Alarm...

    Co-Location Is Back

Co-location has been re-introduced wef 1 Jul 10 and will now be 2nd priority behind Final Tour of Duty. I think this is a positive move for those personnel married to Service partners and will go down well. Thoughts?

    Wales Lose

Very good first half from the Welsh but they must work on keeping that intensity level for the whole game. Too many missed tackles and poor kicking from hand cost them in the 2nd half. Dan Carter is a fine player, but Wales made him look extra special in the 2nd half.

    Knackered PC

Hopefully some of you may be able to provide some expert advice - my home PC has been playing up for a wee while, it switches off randomly and sometimes fails to start up properly. A computer bloke came and looked at it and said there was a problem with the mother board and that it would need a...

    Car Parking at Man Utd

Grateful for any advice on where to park this afternoon. Taking my lads to see the game at Old Trafford, got hold of the tickets late, don't know where to park the car where it will be safe. I'm told there are some private car parks near the ground (10-15 mins walk or so), anyone used these...

    Wi-Fi Question

I've got a new laptop and it has a switch on the front that appears to be the wifi switch, but it is not picking up any wireless networks. How do I check that the machine is actually able to connect wirelessly? Keep it simple please, I'm a biff.

    Weekly British Lions Update

All, Just thought I'd start a wee thread now that we are almost into 2009, and a bit closer to the British & Irish Lions tour to South Africa. Based upon performances each week I'll pick my starting XV and then we can have a chat about it, plusses and minuses etc. It's bound to cause some...

    Honours for Olympians

Come on then, we've seen some of our athletes do outstandingly well in Beijing. The accepted protocol seems to be 1 gold medal = MBE, 2 = OBE, 3 = CBE, 4 or more knighthood. Whilst there are exceptions to the rule, what do you think people should be awarded and why? Steve Redgrave for...

    PC Help Please

I'm a complete biff when it comes to technical stuff so bear with me. My home PC won't start up properly. I press the power button and the power light on the CPU comes on; the little light above it (Disc?) just repeats flashing on and off; the screen is not getting a signal. The PC sounds...

    2.5 Million on Flags

It's not a great deal of cash in the grand scheme of things, but couldn't we find a slightly better use for this money? This comment will go down well: Justifying the spending, an MoD insider said: "There's more to the military than bullets and bombs, you know. If you took the attitude of...
