    CPI 1.7% Sept 2019

    So the inflation figures are out for sept 2019. CPI figure is 1.7% which means a pension rise for all us old bugger's of 1.7% in April.

    Just had a falafal wrap in Liverpool for my lunch. It was very good, albeit different to my usual fare. I'll have it again maybe next year lol, but I certainly won't be turning vegan or vegetarian, I'd miss that bacon butty.

    Hundreds turn up for funeral of RAF veteran Hundreds turned out yesterday for the funeral of 100 year old RAF veteran Oswald Dixon who had no family in the UK. Oswald came over from Jamaica and served as a RAF mechanic in the 2nd world war. Well done to all who turned out.

    Getting over jet lag to/from Oz

    Going Oz in Nov for 4weejs. Stooping in Abu Dhabi for three days. Hopefully jet lag won't be too bad when we get to Oz. Any tips to get over it going there and coming back. Cheers
