I’m a professional writer and university lecturer currently researching the 1950s. In the course of this I’m looking into the background of the unsolved murder of Jean Mary Townsend in South Ruislip on the night of 15 Sept 1954. Does anyone recall this? If so, I’d love to hear from you. In particular, I’m keen to contact any US airmen who were based at Northolt around that time (rather than at the South Ruislip USAF base). Hoping someone out there can help!
