Hi Jacko,I get asked this question so many times and it's always so difficult to answer. What is recommended from the Med Board and the ERB can vary so much. However, the AFPS75 pension booklet says this: If your injury/illness is not considered attributable to your service and you have served for 2 years or more then you will receive an IP plus a tax free terminal grant of 3 times the pension. There is a caveat that it is up to the Scheme administrators to decide on the award and amount of invaliding pension, taking into account the level of negligence on your part.If you're at work, have a read of this link:http://defenceintranetds.diiweb.r.mil.uk/sites/polestar/cs/DocumentLibrary/09/982_A5_Invaliding.pdfRegards.CC
