    NSN assistance

    Does anyone have a good number handy for 25mm black electrical insulation tape? Also black self fusing/amalgamating tape (green line tape as I know it)

    Who books tmt/jmlc/imlc courses? Is it pma or cosford/halton? Who best to speak to in order to try to get someone's dates changed?

    How hard (or easy) is to sack someone from the RAF?

    A good mate of mine has been threatened with admin discharge. What sort of timescale might he be looking at? Are many people removed from the RAF this way? Anyone got any tales/experience to share? The AD would be for laziness/incompetence/attitude etc rather than fitness/drugs failure.

    After all this TSCM/Zeus system stuff, What's the shortest posting you've heard of for a SNCO in recent times? I've been told a move before my FAD in 3 years time is unlikely! Heard of people moving sooner?

    Warning in/out of the Mess?

    What's the logic behind warning in/out of the mess if you are to be away from your station for 24+ hours? Are you supposed to warn in/out when you go home for a weekend for example?

    When is it "time to go"?

    What was your PVR trigger? How did you know it was time to end your service? I'm just about to PVR and whilst it's a scary thought I'm also looking forward to it. I just seem to be drowning in extra crap that wasn't there when I joined up. Joke management, lack of resources and manpower etc...

    Public sector payrises limited to 1% until 2015

    Just seen the Chancellor's statement and he says "public sector payrises will be limited to 1% from 2013-2015" Bah, I'm guessing that'll include us as well? Just another good reason to stay in eh? Roll on tranche 2!
