    Left RAF in October, now they want £2k from me?!?

    To cut a long story short, the SVPA wrote to me yesterday asking for nearly £2k! It seems "me or my unit" did not submit Travel and Expenses claims. I no longer have access to JPA so I can't prove it one way or the other. I find the whole resettlement claim procedure so complicated I don't know...

    No contact with ebay winner after 48 hours

    Hi I sold my ipod dock on ebay, to a winning bidder who sniped 15 seconds from the end. 48 hours have elapsed now and no contact, I emailed twice and no reply. Would I be justified in going to the next highest bidder? I need it gone (moving out!) so ordinarily wouldn't be concerned. However...

    Having a bit of trouble with working out my leave days with terminal, resettlement, ILA, take into account bank hols and so on. I need to work backwards from my exit date but JPA only works forwards! Is there a simple calculator I can use on line or wherever to enter my leave totals and have it...

    I am a non-smoker so perhaps I wasn't paying attention at the right time, but how come smokers must take off their titfers before poisoning themselves and all around them? I asked one and he didn't know, is it just one of those things that has been passed down over the years with no real reason...
