    Wierd shift patterns

    When I was on NLS at ISK we used to do 3 x 12 hr days, then 3 x 12 hr nights, then 6 days off. It was an awesome shift pattern.

    Amputee asked to prove disability

    I have a friend back home who has lost both his legs but he is not eligible for free public transport. The driver is quite right to check his pass. Not everyone who is disabled qualify for all disability benefits.

    Why should living out personnel get free meals in the mess while on guard? What do they do for food when they are at their usual place of duty? Apart from tea/coffee milk etc they should either buy a meal ticket or bring their own food.

    Just recieved a letter from the bank informing me that they don't agree with my complaint that their charges are illegal, they have however agreed to pay me a "goodwill" gesture of over £2000. Which is nice.
