Airman Dies At Bastion : SAC Kinikki Griffiths

Along with two other servicemen a RAF Gunner was killed in an RTI at Camp Bastion. Not sure what squadron are out there at the moment, but my thoughts and condolences go out to the families, friends and squadrons of all three killed. No names have been released yet but there is a story about it here

Not a good time for the British forces in Afghanistan at the moment. Despite having left the RAF over 3 years ago I still feel sorrow when more losses are anounced. RIP

Iassume this is the gunner kiled in an accident. Any loss is a sad one, I recall being in Kuwait in 98 when two regiment gunners were killed in an accident. Even as a techie who didn't know them I felt sorrow to be going home and they were not.
