Hey got my start date for rts on july 7th at halton.....anyone else got this date? Then i would love to hear from you....be good to have some mates before you go!!!!

Trust me, it won't make much difference if you know people before hand...most of us "pre-interent" children didn't know anybody or indeed much about what was coming when we joined. Just relax and enjoy the ride, you'll make loads of mates at Halton and throughout your career...

Alright mate, i'm there July 7th too. Can't wait, just passed PRTC on thurs/friday was good. I enjoyed it, if you haven't done it yet just make sure you keep ya head down, do as ya told and work hard on the fitness.

I couldn't believe the amount of people ****ing about but nowhere near as bad as when I passed in December.

I agree with the last guy, there's no point trying to make friends yet, I got on well with a few of the lads down there but if you don't get stuck in the same dorm, odds are you won't speak to them as much.

What are you going in as? I can't wait to go now, nice little holiday in a few weeks with plenty of swimming and beach running to keep the fitness up!

Hi i have this potential start date and was also on the same PRTC as you last week. Looking forward to a phone call from the AFCO now for the final interview.

Yeah i was on PRTC 7TH & 8TH too, really enjoyed it!! cant wait to start! Going for AMM (mech), seemed to be quite a few of us!!! So 7th of July it is!!!
