Hey people, I'm new to this site and I need to pick your brains if I can. I'm hoping for a career in the RAF but I'm colourblind. Do you know what roles are available for a person with CP3?

Cheers

I've moved your thread to the recruitment forums mate. You might get a better responce in them.

Gotta ask though, have you asked at your AFCO? They should have the answer down pat.

Yeah mate, I've been went down and had a speak today but they said because of a newly introduced application process they're unable to tell me what role I can apply for. It seems odd but I was told that I'd have to choose a role, go all the way through the application process then find out at the end, at which point I could be rejected. I don't quite believe that to be acurate so I thought I'd ask on here.

I am CP3 - there are lots of previous Threads on Colour Perception on the Site - have a Search as I'm pretty certain you'll find what you're looking for.

They will not test you, until you have the medical, but if you know what your CP is then they should be able to tell you which trades are open for you.

As above search on here and I'm sure you'll get a good idea.
