They do say that one of the effects of global warming is a lessening of the Gulf Stream and our fair Island suffering a colder climate in winter.
However, it would be nice if it could warm up just a bit.

The most idiotic response that I heard on a TV News programme from a global warmist was that "'weather' was what we had in our back garden, 'climate change' is what happens over a 50 years period".
Yeah, that is always how it has been. Don't trust your eyes and hands, trust our computer crunching numbers but in a way that we will not tell you how.

To be honest, nobody has a clue what's going on with the climate.
Some say it's global warming.
Some say it's a new ice-age.
I remember hearing that it was all Maggie Thatchers fault, she apparently jumped on the band wagon as a way to reduce the reliance on coal and get more nuclear power stations built, thus undermining the power of the miners unions (no pun intended!).DT_Xtremez_35:
