Those colonial types in Boulder Col who run NORAD track santa every year using their clever computers and stuff. If they do it again in 2009 this link should get you there

Damn good fun it is if you have nippers of a certain age who wish to know where the main Man is at any point on Christmas eve. Round about tea time here he is flying around the South pacific delivering presents to sleeping kids in tonga, the cook islands and other such places. Well worth a look on christmas eve.

Never mind the kids, my wife loves this.

Also there are links to get fun stuff like letters from Santa. I ordered one for the wife and she was made up when a letter arrived from the North Pole.

Dont forget its your RAF brethren at Fylingdales too.

I haven't watched this at Christmas yet, but it looks like good fun! I especially like the idea of videos and pictures taken from intercepting aircraft. :pDT_Xtremez_30:

The pup and I sat and watched Santa on his rounds last year. She did not really understand but this year she is switched on enough and I suspect she is not going to go to bed until he is spotted entering Eastern Europe!!!

My wife went mad for this last year.
"look kids look where he is!"
"look there is a video of him"

I am pretty sure this must all be fake cos the whole Idea of santa is the mystery and fact nobody see's him. What next web cams on the sleigh?

The kids wont go to bed when they can see he is still working his way accross europe...

Mine is an evil genius. She knows that Santa will not visit until she is asleep but also realises that until he is in the area she should just stay up and watch the Simpsons.

I find myself using the phrase "just because" more and more these days.

So true this may well be the last year that Santa brings the pressies for Miss TB, next year she may understand we buy them when sadly the magic had gone. Master TB is 6 so we could well manage another year of Santa for him, here's hoping.

Same here, although this year she recieved a letter from Father Christmas thanking her for her letter, and saying that he won't be able to fit a horse down the chimney but he'll see what he can do, etc, etc... She read it aloud and you could see the excitement in her eyes!

Might keep her going for a while yet, but naturally about this age they are more inquisitive and more likely to find out where the presents really come from..

NORAD Santa Tracking

Well its that time of year for me and my little one (aged 8) to log on and watch the tracking of Santa across the world thanks to the good old people at NORAD. God bless them for keeping the dream/belief alive for the little people:pDT_Xtremez_30:

Merry Christmas one and all E-goaters
