They can talk it up as much as they like but yet again Bahrein produces a boring race. No drama very little overtaking and nothing at all for the casual observer.

A bit like a war film without guns.

There were plenty of pink shirts. What more do you want?:pDT_Xtremez_14:

Ross Brawn did his stuff and JB took another step towards the WDC. The first 2 laps were brilliant with some great overtaking (more than many previous races Gem). What made Toyota run the prime tyres for a long middle stint answered my question if they would continue to throw away great opportunities to break their duck. Vettal and Hamilton continue to show their class. Congratulations to Ferrari on breaking their points duck, shame it wasn't Massa doing it!:pDT_Xtremez_30:

It was still fcuking boring. As a sport I'm afraid it is really not improving, and I've been watching since the days of Jacky Stewart and GHraham Hill but I am seriously p1ssed off with watching prcessions and pit stops. At least the first 3 races had a bit of rain to liven things up.

If its so boring, don't watch it.......

The Red Button forum is an excellent idea of the BBC.

but the red button forum won't make the races any more interesting.

I have a right to my opinion and I also have the right to express it. If you don't like it don't fcuking read it!

Just when i was getting used to the powerboat racing season global warming prevails and we finally get a dry race.

Very much enjoyed the opening few laps of the race and there was enough overtaking to keep me well occupied to just over half way, then it was strategies playing, I was enjoying the race dont get me wrong but the kids whos TV i had Hijacked were getting mighty bored for the second half of the race.

Roll on the next race lets see what modifications come out on the next batch of hastily bodged cars.

Lots of updates for lots of teams in Bareclona. Could make the field even closer?

Don't forget that the ones at the front will be updated too.
The Brawns have had no modifications since they left the factory.

The track is one of the most downforce critical tracks going. Mclaren reckon that even with their upgrades, Barca will be painful for them. The Brawns blew away everybody in the last test and the gap will still be there..

Don't forget though that everyone else has been working overtime, since testing, on catching the Brawns. When will Adrian Newey unveil his rear diffuser? When will Williams throw their flywheel Kers into the fray?
Will BMW just give up?

Not been much said about updates coming from Brawn though, nice to see both Ferraris finish today, could have ben better if Massa didn't c0ck up! the little gimp.

Nice Race

Nice Race

Personnally I thought this was a good race, the first couple of laps were interesting as the faster cars overtook the KERS cars that had an advantage on the start line, then the tactics and Pitting made it interesting to the end, in my book.

Looking forward to the Barcelona race with most teams adding major updates, Hope Button doesn't do what Hull FC have done this year in the premiership.

The first couple of laps, about 5 minutes maximum of a 2 hour programme were interesting enough. For the afficianado the tactics are pretty interesting but for the casual motorsport viewer the vast majority of the race was processianal and boring. Compared with motor bikes/touring cars and Indy/nascar racing F1 is terminally dull.

That said I am like a moth to the flame and don't miss a race, but i bet the moth doesn't enjoy singeing it's arse either:pDT_Xtremez_32:

The secret attraction is the fact that most wimmim don't like it, so it keeps them in the kitchen for a couple of hours, and lets them catch up with the ironing, and whatever else they should be doing on a Sunday afternoon!

Nail and Head spring to mind. Nothing like vegging infront of TV watching motorsport with a couple of bevvies. At least it aint as boring as Football but each to thier own.

I appreciate that you have stated most women do not follow motor sport however I do and I ended up doing my Ironing whilst watching yesterdays race. It was a boring race in the long run.

I have no understanding whatsoever of Football and would appreciate Footie comments being left out of an F1 thread.:pDT_Xtremez_42:
