Looking at Tashys' avatar and knowing that he works on a ship, is he based off the coast of Somalia per chance?

The only things missing in his bandana picture are his eye patch and parrot.

No comment.........I've been home the last few weeks.....will be off on the high seas middle of next week so if the piracy events start again then you'll know why....and where to send the ransoms.

Wish a few goaters would go on cruises, maybe I could target their ship :pDT_Xtremez_14:

When I first started we were in the North Sea, about 6 months ago we went down the west coast of Africa, working off of Namibia.

Our boat has had engine problems and been in drydock a lot the last 2 months or so....we left it in Santander, at the mo it is near Lisbon (having been in drydock again for more thruster work) doing sea trials and load tests.

Currently we don't have a job to go to but it could be North Sea, Down south (Gabon region) or tie up in Lisbon and wait......I know which gets my vote !!!

P.S. During the last 2 weeks I've been to the Isle of Wight on an FRC course and Cardiff to a Funeral..........hope this helps....

Recently returned back to Bayern (I work very close to the O2 tower in Munich, for anyone who knows the area) now after working in Lisbon (Five and a bit Months) and I hope I never see the place again...what a hole and the Portugese...well the less said the better.

Tashy, If your looking for the nightfighters, you will find a plenty up past Pombal, past Amoreiras.

Obviously I have no idea where you will dock/berth/moor or whatever it is called, but if it is on the South side, close to the Naval dockyards....be careful fella, very dodgy area.

Best Oirish bar (in my opinion) is the One close to Cais de Sodre.....easy to find and by the waterfront. I dont mean the One by the Bridge over the river Tejo.

Lisbon is still a sh`thole though:pDT_Xtremez_34:

I was talking to JAFAD666 about this very subject. We should just set a date and go for it.

As for the Portugese, I don't think much to their Universities! We had a chap who had a degree in Electronics working for us... Yet when I drew a latching relay circuit for him he looked at me like I'd just drawn the worlds first warp drive.
