Nice intro KQ, Sepang was a Ferrari track last year, with Filipe throwing away the 2008 WDC by crashing out while in second place. Don't expect Hamilton to do well if it is dry, however if it is wet, the Mclaren has consistant balance, so he could excel.

Spelling police noticed that Malboro was spelt the same way as a town in Whitshire. Phillip Morris will sue you!

But also less downforce, they always crank on some downforce for the wet...........

Surely the big question for this race is how many hours/days after the winner has crossed the line will the race be decided and the final standing be announced!!! :pDT_Xtremez_42:

Ferrari's spinning in the mist!

It is interesting to see that Dave Ryan, who was the sporting director at VMM (and was with Hamlton at that stewards meeting in Oz) has either been suspended from the team (who he has been with since Hunt was WDC!)

He instructed Hamilton to answer the way he did in the meeting, by all accounts. Then again he is a Shackle Rattler!:pDT_Xtremez_42:

Qualifying

Button makes it 2 out 2 pole positions, Trulli and Vettel finish 2nd & 3rd (although Seb has his 10 slot grid penalty). The Mclaren woes continue with Hamilton 13th and Kovi 14th. The Ferrari's Friday pace is not underlined with Kimi towards the back of the top 10 and Massa fcuked up completely by only running once in quali 1 and only setting the 16th best time!:pDT_Xtremez_30::pDT_Xtremez_30:

I am really looking forward to tomorrow. After following McClaren for so long now I am getting hacked off with the amount of serious disputes that they have been getting themselves involved with Think i will give them to mid season to sort their act out before totally switching allegiance to Brawn.

Of course regardless of who they drive for I will always shout for the Brit drivers.

Well done Jenson keep up the good work.

I followed the McLarens for a few season's as they were the only Brit team with any pace, but their latest problems seem a little bit like desperation measures. We don't know what goes on behind closed doors, but if this keeps up, it can only put more pressure on them
I have been waiting for Button to get a decent car under him since he left Williams, (the first time LOL!) and I just had a feeling about the Brawn car.
It just seems to have true pace.
I bet Honda are a bit p!ssed off...............................!:pDT_Xtremez_14:

If there isnt any rain Button will run off into the distance. That car is mighty fast. To go out in Q1 on hard tyres and leave it at that is normally brave or foolish. In Buttons case it was simply confidence that the car is quick enough to drop the few tenths/half a second and still be in for Q2.

Vettel will be one to look out for this season, shame he got a 10 place drop or he would be right in the mix up front.

Nice to see Trulli up there. He has impressed me this last week. Considering he is Italian he has been really quiet regarding the race results from Australia! He's one of those funny drivers that can be blindingly quick but seems to suffer with going to sleep on Sundays!

As for Ferrari...........:pDT_Xtremez_42:. Wake the feck up!!!!
I cant believe they thought Massas first run was quick enough to warrant not putting in second run. Talk about bit on the ass.
See the difference KERS made though for Kimi. He had one run when it didnt work and one when it did. The difference was nearly a second.

Its tight up the top though, at one point there was less than one second from 1st to 10th.

Amazing really when you think about it. They have all sat down and designed new cars to new rules over the winter. There are 3 definite types, diffuser, KERS (I forget if anyone has both?)and no diffuser or KERS.
They are much closer than I would have thought. I believe that at one point during Q1 there was about 1.5 seconds covering 17 cars.

Hats off to the designers.:pDT_Xtremez_30:

Well, the forecast is 32 degrees and heavy showers.

Interesting to see the Mclaren comments. I used to follow them whilst Kimi was there and for a while when Alonso was there. Thats where it ended though and my opinion of Mclaren changed for the worst I'm afraid as many of you well know. To be honest I now generally keep my opinions of Mclaren to myself, it saves the grief I get back from certain people!
I'm just wondering if anyone is now understanding why I dislike Mclaren as a team?

Have Williams got KERS?

What makes me laugh is the way they keep going on about Kubica not haveing KERS because of his weight! There's nothing to the lad, he's a bean pole! He'll be getting a complex soon.
