The race queens were awesome. I bet they were freezing though.

Studley :pDT_Xtremez_30::pDT_Xtremez_30:

But their bits didn't stand out like the pair of T*ts Hamilton and Massa were. Lol.:pDT_Xtremez_15:

Although he was probably out of the championship. Kimi looked gutted now that he's totally out even with a solid 3rd

Well all we need is Mr Mashers consise overview of proceedings and propably in 4 hours time, Massa getting a fine!

I wonder if the stewards enquiry on Massa was delayed until post race so that some evil minded and McLaren biased person can give him a grid penalty at the next race rather than an ineffectual drive through at this one?

I know I would!

Was this a better race than the night race? Just wondering if this would be a good one to watch....

It depends, if you want to watch 2 overpaid, over rated c0cks drive like kids on a go kart track then you'll enjoy the first lap. After that it was one for the fans.

No, it was to promote him to seventh. Bourdais has been penalized for coming out of the pit lane, holding the line into the corner and watching Massa trying to take him out. Utter Bolloxs by the stewards again!

you have to laugh!

F1 has ceased to be a sport, it is now Bernie's private comedy show.

I want to see the title won by the person would has scored the most points on the track, not the way the stewards seem to be effecting the title race this year. Massa has to win the title by more that 6 points to say he deserved it. That is now up to 8 in my mind.

without wishing to be contentious aren't you just getting your excuses ready early with the above? I do know what you mean though, this season has become totally farcical and I wouldn't be upset to see Bernie and the Fascist pervert call the whole thing void to be honest.

Bearing in mind these threads were under orders not to descend into name calling and slagging matches, I have to agree with you Gem :S

I'm going to eat a large slice of humble pie here (Masher take note :pDT_Xtremez_31:) and say that Hamilton behaved like a bl00dy idiot in that race and is lucky to come away with a 5 point lead in the championship. His only saving grace is that Massa seemed hell bent on equalling Lewis's stupidity and lack of level headedness.
A scan of the web reveals more outrage and complaints over the punishment meted out to Massa for nerfing lewis off the track; i.e. Massa ultimately gained 2 points in the title race, but this time I can't see what else they could have done. Could they or should they have instructed Massa to cruise around until Hamilton recovered to give him the place back to retain consistency with the decision at Spa? That would be darned difficult and possibly at tadge dangerous as well.
No, Hamilton got what he deserved today as he didn't have to make such a banzai maneouvre on Massa having already reduced his front tyres to 50p pieces locking up into the first corner. Yeah, racing drivers have to have bottle and nerve to do things that separate the men from the boys, but they also have to be circumspect at times. I thought we'd started to see that from lewis at Singapore, now I'm not so sure.

No I'm not. Hamilton needs to start using his head if he wishes to fulfil his dream this year. Rakkonian was never going to be a contenter for the WDC if Hamilton scored 3 points today, so why try and out brake him into corner one! He would have had other oppertunities.

.

I was just trying to be fair! That is how they both performed. The powers that be, ie the Stewards are as usually totally unworthy of the task given to them and the whole circus has dissolved into the laughing stock of world sport. It is hardly worthy of the name sport any longer!

I still maintain that Hamilton would have been better off just driving for 2nd place in that race. He would have been in a much better position now.

He deserves all he got from that race.

It's difficult to drill that into a testosterone filled 23 year old. I'm sure that tactics were the order of the day, but who knows what red mist appears when you've 500 horse power at your disposal. At 23 I'm sure Hamiltons mantra must be "Drive it like you stole it" and I'm sure his dad and Ron dennis are clipping him round the ear like mad at the moment. Massa on the other hand should know better (Although he's not that old at 27). Like I said earlier I did enjoy the race and for all the rubbish stewards decisions and reckless/experimental driving it's giving us loads to talk about rather than the days when Schumacher had it wrapped with three races still to go and dulled the whole end of the season.

Yep, there's an age old racing adage that says "you can't win the race in the first corner, but you sure can lose it". Lewis should have learned that lesson today, but I'm begining to fear he won't have.
