Hi everyone,

just a quick hello seeing as i've started posting at last!

Me? I'm a fairly recent addition to the growbag fraternity after doing quite a number of years on the ground (getting my third the hard way!) just a few years left to my 22. Then the question is do I stay or do I go??

glad to be here and as the name infers - Linux is the future!

I myself have never really seen the need to dabble in Linux (I used to be a semi-comp geek but that was years ago).

In my new job they use Linux a lot so slowly getting used to it.......can't see it ever appearing on my home computers in the near future though.

in itself it is purely eye candy, but it does make changing workspaces more fun

the rest of Compiz is actually really useful and does increase productivity - IMHO.

using windows or other OSs without Compiz running feels flat and unfriendly.
