My mum was there as she`s a season ticket holder. I was stoked for her as she`s had nowt but disappointment for the last 12 years. Lets hope it`s ever upwards where Cloughy would be smiling from above.

I was there, with my brother-in-law and Mrs TrickyTree - a fantastic result. I was determined not too get excited because of all the disappointments I've had following the Trickies over the last dozen or so years but I did keep thinking all afternoon that sometime luck surely has to go with us and it did!

I won't shed a tear for Leicester but in truth it would have been fantastic if both teams plus the sheep had been playing in the same division next season. A word of warning for any Foxes reading this - League One is a tw*t to get out of, don't expect to come straight back up!

Topped it off nicely by watching Notts Outlaws beat Northants Steelbacks the next day - and pleasantly surprised to find London Pride on tap in the pavilion (the barrel soon emptied though!).

Can't wait to renew my season ticket for the eighteenth consecutive season in the next few weeks. Ha ha, and also can't wait to go to Wolves away for no other reason than to spite my knob of a step-son!

Anyway for now I'm going to put a tenner on Nottinghamshire to win the County Championship!
