At risk of going all Dangermouse and sticking up for Penfold, he's not actually saying anything about the payout.

It's a post to correct the misconception that she had MRSA, she did not. Saying MRSA in the papers was an easy way to explain her condition to joe public, I know one paper did actually give the correct definition but more people have heard of MRSA and at least have a slight understanding of what that means.

How the feck could she have claimed loss of earnings, surely all work would have dried up as soon as she turned into the pouting trout? Feckin rediculous. It's no wonder the NHS is in such a $hitty state with this sort of payout being agreed. Surely she was minted enough beforehand not to need an extra £5m.

When I first saw photos of her after the fact I thought fecking hell how the feck has it done that to her face, then thought oh hang on she actually paid to get a mouth like that.

It's laughable the payouts made in cases such as this when we have horrific injuries being paid a pittence if anything at all.

Another thing which I noticed. She complained about what this had done to her life, her career and the trauma it has caused her and then I see people such as Ben Parkinson who has gone through so much worse than her and yet keeps his humour and doesn't complain. Perspective.
