How do I know if my headlights line up correctly for an MOT

As it says in the title. I think my headlights might be slightly skewed. How can I test there alignment prior to the mot? Ta.

If it's just adjustment, most garages will do that as part of the MOT at no charge. I've had it a couple of times.

You can shine them on a wall and adjust them so they are level, but to be honest you will not be sure even then.

Most MOT stations just line them up if they are out rather than failing you.

A packet of custard creams and a trip to MTSS - but failing that most garages will take a look for free, some even still offer free Pre-MOT's

Perhaps I should have explained better. I had a minor front end shunt smashing the drivers side headlight. I then had to beat the front back into shape and then reinsert a new light.

I'm sure that I've seen the distance from the wall and markings on the wall the gargage use on the internet, but I can't find them anymore.
