I visited Celle a few times - as my Bro was a REME VM there - I was amazed at the size of the huge Napoleonic style Barrack Block (Of course, you may be on a different Site!) with the Stables underneath it?

Walking from the Camp into the Altstadt, and into a Kirmes, was only ten minutes!
So short for a RAF-Type used to having to get a Taxi or some other lift into the nearest village.
