Anyone been through vetting recently for CTC/SC?

Having been vetted through submission of the old orange style form I like the way it's done now via the DBS NSV.

Questions I have are:

-Are they really clearing subjects in 25 days at the moment in the majority of cases?
-Is that 25 working days or days from submission of application?
-Finally if you already hold a valid and in date CTC with another organisation should it make the process slicker?

Have just submitted my SC renewal yesterday. I'll let you know how long it takes.

It depends on what's changed in your life since the last check as well.

I got married in-between checks, so that put a 6 week delay on things whilst they made sure my Wife wasn't a 'Risk'.
