Dear Goaters,
Just ding a bit of profile raising for a friends charity Turn to Starboard. Shaun is an ex RAF Nursing Officer with a huge passion for sailing who set the charity up a few years ago with the idea of giving serving and ex-serving personnel access to sailing courses, team building and support for injured servicemen and women of all three Services.
The charity has a number of yachts and now a 'tall ship' and there is loads of info on the website to give a better idea of what they do.
Shaun's been in touch saying that he would love a bigger uptake from the RAF so if you want a team activity, or have some trainees that might fancy doing something different then get in touch with him or message me and I will have a chat with him. They also do family stuff as well so if you or someone you know has had a long det away then they will take families just contact them and see what they can do for you.
