JC has put his foot down quite a bit of late to avoid diluting the Stig brand even further. I mean, there's not much you can do with someone who doesn't talk, and you need a face to truly accept someone. He stopped a piece about the Stig testing MPVs because it was too far of course (even by that particular season's woeful standards). Last week's show was the best in almost 3 years (imho).
