The only people that can answer this is the doctor and the med board that follows. As an ex recruiter we always passed the question on to them.

Short answer: it depends.

They may refer you to a service psychiatrist for a formal evaluation before they decide on medical fitness.

If you applying for a well-manned trade, you may not even get that far.

A history of some sort of psychiatric disorder probably puts you at higher lifetime risk of further problematic episodes, even if you are currently well. Depending on severity and exact problems, you may be Permanently Unfit.
