SLC whilst in resettlement

Can anyone tell me what you require to claim SLCs whilst in resettlement. Do you just need an invoice on headed paper?

I need a job doing but it will be classed as training as I will shadow them to further enhance my skillset should the job need doing again.

Anyone done similar?
