I meant to mention this this morning but I had to go out. It would appear that a moderator was quick to remove the post, has the whole thread been deleted? as I cannot remember which one it was.

As is the SOP when a spammer has slipped through the net and managed to get a post onto the site.......

If you spot one - hit the report post button on the top right of the offending post and if there is a Mod on line - highlight it to them. Nothing else.

With regard to the spammer post this morning, The post was removed and the spammer was banned within a few minutes of the post appearing.

I didn't even know it was there !!!.....what does it do exactly ? Who does the report go too ? Surely quicker to just contact an online MOD ?

Anyways it was in the Des Brown thread....don't think the whole thread was deleted.

The report thread button is the exlamation mark in the top right of the post. It then gets highlighted up into the mods area. This is usually the first port of call for us when we come on line and helps us keep a track on these idiots. Hope that helps.

Thanks Fomz, appreciate the reply, I will know what to do next time and will do it straight away rather than wait untill I get back on the site.
