The current events around Marine A who may or may not be released by Christmas is this weeks hot military in the courts story. The link refers to events from 1972 and now it looks like two old blokes soldiers A and C, 65 and 67 years old respectively are to appear in a NI court over the shooting of an IRA member back then. The original 1970's police investigation led to no prosecutions. So must justice be served no matter how far back we have to go or is there no point in constantly raking over past historical conflicts?
