Does anyone know when the clock starts in respect to your tour length when it comes to R&R? is it from when you leave brize to when you get back there or once you reach Cyprus is that considered EOT? Thanks

As R&R is an in-theatre entitlement, I believe that it is down to how many days in theatre you are expected to do - ie day of arrival to day of departure.

If you are saying that you were delayed X amount of days en-route to and/or from the UK and have passed over the threshold for entitlement, then that's a different ball-game!

There is not an entitlement for R&R. Instead, personnel on tours planned to be over 4 months become eligible to be granted R&R at the discretion on the theatre commander.
