Welcome to the forum. There's not many of us about but others may find us in the fullness time. Maybe they are all still locked in darkrooms.

As the original and - at that time - the only photog posting on E-Goat, I don't have a number.

I assume that there is obviously a connection between Photog and 39 in your name, meaning that you are not of course a real photog!
Whereas my "handle" of course means that I am!
Oh, I do love stirring the proverbial on a Friday afternoon!
For those non phots out there, we used to have in the good old bad old days, several marks of photogs. And the ones that used to work on 39 Sqn before the powers that be decided we didn't still need a real recce facility, were in the main, splooshers. Whereas, us real phots who knew how to use a camera were always referred to by the splooshers as scummy G's!
Oh how I miss the crew room arguments!
For those of you who know me, or can guess who I am, after 37 and a bit years, I have 13 days left in the Office!

Yes i was on 39. and a sploosher untill the Amalgamation but never really need more than a point and shoot most of the time. Still enjoy banter with the former scummy G's but we 're all photogs now.

A type 11,takes me back to my time on 41 RIC.

Aaaah, the Kelvin Hughes Type 11.....the noise.....the smells.......and that was just the operators.
Went to Duxford recently and there's an ATREL, 2 x 105s and a 102 on display. didn't see any scummy G stuff from yesteryear though.

Real photographers did'nt start out as APO's they started as Photographers!!
Then the real men became ACF's but then I might be biased
