If so... can you tell me what the days are like ie is the training 9-5 Monday to Friday, or is there more to it than that?

I guess there will be homework to do?

Any comments much appreciated!

Normal training days Mon to Thurs are 08.30 to 17.00. Friday is an early stack at 16.30 (can be sooner) then they give you two days off both Saturday and Sunday. Expect two tea breaks a day (at least) with a break for lunch. Homework is not routinely set but self study and reading of your course notes is expected.

Also to include you may get pinged for the odd parade which usually covers a weekend, with parade practise in the evening . And maybe guard for a week.
