I watch the IPL most days a bit of light hearted smash, bang, wallop pyjama cricket for the masses. Good fun but I can't take it that serious but then again it's better than pointless, the chase, etc. As for KP the ego has landed the Delhi daredevil captaincy, a large paycheque (Reputedly £900,000) yet DD are bottom of the league and need the second coming to make the playoffs.

The first IPL game in Abu Dhabi of the series was viewable from my balcony, the place was heaving. I decided to join the throngs for the next one, and O can truthfully say that I have achieved "another tick". Fantastic atmosphere and due to the low wages for the "migrant workers", the ticket worked out at a 5er...
